LOVE LETTERS
September 23, 2023LOVE LETTERS, Saturday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. Tickets at the Cathedral, from members, at the door or by phone 306-522-6439. Presented by members of St. Paul's Cathedral. A. R. Gurney, Author (1930 – 2017) Gurney wrote almost 50 plays plus novels and screenplays, including the Pulitzer nominated Love Letters. This piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as to what is actually written down.
